My dad, Lawrence (Larry) Fernsworth, Sr. was the best storyteller I’ve ever known. He was quiet most of the time. When he was a kid, his teachers misunderstood his lack of talking for lack of intelligence.
He was smart.
He was listening.
And when my dad had something to say, it was a great story.
He was an observer of details.

I host and facilitate StoryCircles in honor of my dad, who passed on “across the fence” on June 11, 2026. When he was here in his body, he knew he had great stories to tell.
He had a kind of quiet confidence not everyone has about themselves.

He helped me develop my own storytelling. To be quiet, to listen, to learn to tell stories in a noisy world.
You might think your stories aren’t worth sharing. I don’t think that’s true. I believe you have great stories to tell, And I want to help you tell them. They deserve to be told and deserve to be heard.
StoryCircles are a way to share your story in a small group setting and see what sparks when you listen to others’ stories and are listened to yourself.

You can also come and listen only - there’s no pressure to speak.
